Some good points there, too many people these days base their lives on knowing the cost of everytihng and the value of nothing.

We all have to make money but its not the be all and end all.

I like your point about the credit crunch, any business who needs to borrow is possbily not operating in a sustainable way (been there done that) just getting deeper in the red to keep going – I suscribe to the fact that its probably better to grow your business organically, make money re invest and keep everything on a sound footing with minimal overheads (boy have I invested with borrowed money and wish I hadn’t at all!)

Hopefully most businesses will come out the other end better for it at the end of this recession.

Very thoughtful post! It’s so true that the media has whipped the country into a state of fear about money, and that sense of “lack” has just really shaken people to their core. Remembering what is REALLY important is paramount. Thanks for bringing that reminder to the forefront!

Money gives you choices…very few people need millions to survive..we need to earn enough to give your friends and family security and the rest is really down to your own attitude.

Health + family are most important to me.I also rate being successful higher than I rate my bank balance. Cash and lot’s of it is just a bonus. We come into this life with nothing and we leave with nothing.
